Dinner For Cheap, Recipe Of The Week





Got this recipe from my mom, used it for the Superbowl! It's a real crowd pleaser!

2 Crescent rolls $0.50/2 Pilsbury Printable
1.5 lbs Ground Beef ( Shaws 4/$20 meat sale )
1 Package taco seasoning $.75/2 Taco Bell Printable
2 Cups Shredded Chedder Cheese $1.99 At Shaws

Cost Minus Condiments: $9.25
Cost Per Piece: $0.57

Condiments(optional): Use what YOU like.
1 bag of salad mix
chopped tomato
green onions
black olives
Shredded cheddar cheese $1.99 At Shaws
Sour Cream $.50/1 Breakstone's Printable or $1.79 Daisy Sour Cream
Salsa

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
brown the ground meat drain the grease of really well.
add the taco season and just a few tablespoons of water to mix it.
lay the crescent rolls out like a sunflower overlap a little.
Spoon the meat all the way around on wide end of roll.
sprinkle cheese on top of meat and fold ends towards the middle.
bake until rolls are nice and golden brown
remove from oven put your condiments in the middle, excluding the sour cream and salsa.
Put the sour cream and salsa in bowls on the side.
